About DOT Physicals
The Department of Transportation (DOT) requires physicals to be performed by a certified, approved and licensed medical examiner in order to comply with federal regulations.
We offer DOT physicals via appointment and walk-ins so that you can be prepared to start work when you desire. These physicals last less than 1 hour.
DOT Physicals are required for truck drivers, school bus drivers, EMT’s, etc.
What to bring to your visit:
- Drivers License
- DOT Medical Exam Report (Fill out pages 1 & 2 to review with Certified Medical Examiner).
What to expect at your appointment:
- Review of health history
- Vital Signs including blood pressure and heart rate
- Vision and hearing tests
- Height and weight measurements
- Comprehensive urinalysis
- Sleep apnea screening
- Cardiovascular risk assessment
At the end of your visit you will be provided with a
Federally issued Medical Exam Certificate to take to the DMV.
